Extended Program of Immunization (EPI) and Mother Child Care (MCH) |

The extended program of immunization (EPI) gives Sudanese nationals the opportunity to get vaccinated against prevalent diseases in their areas. The immunizations, otherwise unavailable to them, have prevented thousands from contracting both life-threatening diseases, and major illnesses that sometimes affect communities as a whole.
Village to village mobilization is a major component of the medical programs at CMA. In addition to immunization, mothers are trained on basic health and hygiene practices. As a result, the number of diseases due to a lack of knowledge and immunity has decreased significantly in areas where CMA has reached. Mothers are now raising healthy and strong children, and families are leading healthier lives too.
