Christian Mission Aid - Saving Souls in South Sudan“I just want to serve God with all I’ve got,” Michael, a preacher in Dajo South Sudan, shared with a staff member at CMA. Because of its remoteness, Dajo is one of the most forgotten places in South Sudan. Out of a population of 21,000 people, only about 2% are literate.

The Dajo inhabitants have only one school in the region and didn’t have access to health care until recently when Christian Mission Aid set up a clinic in the area. The people here are also un-reached with the Gospel. The last missionaries came to Dajo 50 years ago. One of the people groups – the Buldit, does not even have a written language.

As part of extending Christian Outreach to South Sudan, CMA has already begun laying the groundwork in Dajo. Because the people do not know English, we have to first teach them English and we are doing so using the Bible as a textbook.  We provide the Bibles since a majority of them do not have access to a Bible and some have never even seen one.

Through the classes, and showing the Jesus Film and other Christian videos, the Sudanese are passionate to embrace true Christianity. The harvest is indeed plenty in South Sudan but the laborers are few. Will you join us in this exciting venture to reach the people of South Sudan with the Gospel of Christ? We need missionaries, Bibles, Bible tracts, song books and other Christian literature or videos and tapes. Alone, we can only do the best we can with the resources at hand. Together, we can do much more. We need YOU!
