Christian Mission Aid has planted over 4,000 churches since it began 20 years ago. These are churches led by lay leaders and pastors in very remote areas. Due to the remoteness of these areas and lack of funds, most of the leaders have not been able to further their formal training. Though zealous for the Gospel,
a lack of formal training presents a great challenge as they face tough faith based questions from their congregations. Through the Lay Leaders Training program (LLT), Christian Mission Aid offers training to these pastors and lay leaders, equipping them to better present the Gospel. The program focuses on Bible study methods, discipleship, leadership, counseling, evangelism, and other topics.
As a result of these trainings, the lay leaders have made great strides in impacting their local churches and communities and some have gone a step further to plant more churches. With $5500 you can train 45 lay leaders at a comprehensive five day seminar, building a sound Biblical foundation in their lives and partnering with us in fulfilling the Great Commission by empowering them to reach the remote communities of Kenya, Uganda and Sudan.
