During the holidays and during emergencies such as conflict, drought, and famine, Christian Mission Aid provides relief to poor families in marginalized rural areas and slums through the distribution of food. These food packages are packed with life-saving food (maize meal, rice, beans, cooking oil, and wheat flour).
During the Christmas season, Christian Mission Aid shares the joy of Christ by providing food buckets to vulnerable families, providing hope and demonstrating the love of God to them.
The Need Is Great
There are an estimated 3.1 million people in Kenya who are food insecure. This number is so high partially due to three consecutive season of little rain. This has caused a major shortage of crops in the region.
